Misti B. Wills is a New York City–based, award-winning theatre director and educator whose work has been seen Off-Broadway (Brilliant, Theatre Row; My Real Mother, NYMF – Outstanding Lead Performance Award), regionally, and internationally (Unseen, Edinburgh, Scotland). She directed the New York premiere of A Pound in Your Pocket by Charles Strouse and Lee Adams, and select regional credits include A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (Greenville Theatre, SC), Sister Act (Ovation Recommended, 5 Star Theatricals – Best Director Award, 5 Star Theatricals Subscriber Awards), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (5 Star Theatricals – L.A. Scenie Award for Best Director of a Larger Musical), Little Women (Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre, VA), and My Fair Lady (Forestburgh Playhouse). She has assisted Karin Coonrod, Gabriel Barre, and Scott Schwartz; trained with Anne Bogart, Michael Mayer, David Mamet, and Kristin Linklater; and served on the acting faculties of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, the New York Film Academy, and Long Island University. Misti holds an M.A. in Theater Education from Emerson College and is a proud member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.
